LOOP FOR LOVE LEADERSHIP TEAM

 Founder & President Jenny Wang

Jenny Wang is a freshman at MIT and serves as the President of Loops for Love. She is passionate about both STEM and the arts. Outside of Loops for Love, Jenny is actively engaged in her community. She is the founder of AYLUS Frisco & Plano and Hummingbird Community Outreach Dallas. At Loops for Love, Jenny hopes to work together with her fellow officers in establishing a stronger bond with all members within and outside of the Loops for Love community.

Vice President: Charlotte Chen

Charlotte Chen, one of the vice presidents of Loops for Love, is a sophomore at Independence High School. She is very committed to helping the community whenever she can, with over 300 volunteer hours. Besides being a leader for Loops for Love, she is also a vice president for the AYLUS Frisco & Plano Branch and has been involved in the Teen VIP (Volunteers In Plano) program for many years. She believes that by combining everyone’s efforts, we can create a better future for many kids and help out the community as a whole.

Vice President: Jenny Lin

Jenny Lin, currently a junior at Plano West Senior High, is the Co-President of Loops for Love. She has been part of the organization for several years, mainly leading fundraising events. Known for energy and friendliness—she is often the first to reach out to strangers. At the same time, she works hard cataloguing and writing reports behind the scenes. At Loops for Love, she is able to do something she deeply values, creating positive change in the world. For this reason, she’s dedicated herself to the task and her role as a leader. In her free time, she loves to create—especially through art, animation, and writing. Additionally, she is passionate about teaching, which is why she became a certified ski instructor. Above all, she seeks to build connection with the community around her and within Loops for Love.


Vice President: Tianlu Zhou 

Tianlu (Alexander) Zhou, one of the vice presidents of Loops for Love, is a sophomore at Jasper High School. He is deeply dedicated to art creation and community service. Beyond his involvement with Loops for Love, he also serves the community in other ways, such as being an officer of his school’s NHS, where he leads members to participate in various volunteer activities. In addition to volunteering, he spends a significant portion of his time creating art and participating in fine arts competitions. He believes that by harnessing everyone’s abilities, they can work together to create a better future for both the community and the Loops for Love organization.

 Vice President: Lillan Qian

Lillian Qian serves as a vice-president for Loops for Love. She is a freshman at Jasper High School, where she participates in various academic and leadership organizations. She is interested in visual art, writing, music, and science. She has been involved in multiple STEM competitions and is the co-founder of Jasper’s Science Bowl team. At AYLUS, she hopes to foster a community for volunteers and make a difference locally and nationally.

Vice President: Karen Li

Karen Li is a 8th grader at Fowler Middle School and serves as one of the vice presidents of Loops for Love. She has a strong interest in the arts, participating in many extra curricular activities such as drawing and playing the cello. This passion continues into her free time where she enjoys origami, painting, and reading. She has also actively involved in student organizations in school as a member of student council and an officer of NJHS.


Vice President: Kevin Dong 

Kevin Dong, an 8th grader at Lawler Middle School, is a passionate and dedicated leader of the Loops for Love organization. With a strong interest in STEM and music, Kevin actively participates in various activities both inside and outside of school, where he demonstrates his creativity and leadership skills. As a key figure in Loops for Love, Kevin is committed to working collaboratively with his peers to grow the organization and make a meaningful impact on the community. His enthusiasm for learning and helping others drives his vision to expand the reach and influence of Loops for Love, inspiring those around him to join in the mission of giving back.


Vice President: Andrew Wang

Andrew Wang, a freshman at Emerson High School, serves as one of the vice presidents at Loops for Love. Within the organization, he brings a strong sense of responsibility, creativity, and determination to every project he takes on, and consistently demonstrates an ability to inspire peers and collaborate effectively. Andrew has also built websites and designed posters, logos, and other promotional materials for various organizations.Andrew is interested in business and STEM-related fields, with one of his hobbies being assembling computers. In his free time, he enjoys listening to music, playing video games, taking photos, and playing sports. By using his strengths at Loops for Love, he aims to create a community that works together to achieve their goals. 


Vice President: Ryan Ma

Ryan Ma is a dedicated and driven 10th grader at Imagine International School. With a passion for helping others, Ryan has made a significant impact both within and beyond his school community. He has enthusiasm for math and science.

As a proactive leader, Ryan has founded clubs at school that foster collaboration and learning among his peers. He also serves as the Vice President of Loops for Love, a charitable organization, where he played a key role in developing its website to expand its reach and impact. Beyond his leadership roles, Ryan actively participates in various volunteer activities, showcasing his commitment to giving back and making a difference in the lives of others.

With his combination of initiative, academic passion, and dedication to service, Ryan exemplifies the qualities of a compassionate leader and an inspiring role model.

Vice President: Melody Zhang

Melody Zhang is currently an 8th grade student at Vandeventer Middle School and serves as vice president for Loops of Love. She has had a strong passion for visual arts, both digital and traditional as a six-time medalist at the Jr. VASE art competition. In her free time, she enjoys listening to podcasts, graphic design, and catching up on current world events. Outside of art, she is very passionate about community service, serving over 200 volunteer hours. She is also active in her school community as president of the VMS Art Club as well as a student council officer. At Loops of Love, she wishes to dedicate quality time to expand and outreach to more volunteers for the ultimate goal of bettering the world we live in.

Vice President & Chief Financial Officer: Sophia Li

Sophia Li is a junior at Liberty High School and serves as Vice President for Loops For Love. She is passionate about helping and giving back to the community. In her free time, she enjoys reading, baking, and exploring the arts. Beyond her role at Loops for Love, Sophia is very involved in a variety of community organizations, holding leadership positions in organizations such as AYLUS Frisco and Plano branches and Citizens for Tomorrow (COT). Through her volunteer work, Sophia is committed to helping foster teamwork and collaboration to have a positive impact in her community. 
 
 
 Vice President: Karen Zhou

Karen Zhou is a senior at Allen High School and serves as one of the Vice Presidents of Loops for Love. Karen is deeply passionate about community service, aiming to create a meaningful impact on the community through collaboration and leadership. She is also heavily involved in STEM-relate pursuits as a four-year member of her school’s robotics program, officer in the Science Club, and member of Math Honor Society and Science Honor Society. Through these roles, she hopes to aid the Loops for Love initiative to make a positive difference in the community.
 
 
Vice President: Emily Yin
 
Emily Yin is a junior at Wakeland High School and serves as a Vice President of Loops for Love. She has a strong interest in the arts, enjoying creative pursuits such as painting, creative writing, and playing the flute. In addition, she is actively involved in student organizations as a member of the Science National Honor Society (SNHS) and the National Art Honor Society (NAHS). She is also the cofounder of her school’s Crochet club.
 
 
Vice President: Amanda Yin
 
Amanda Yin is a junior at Wakeland High School and serves as a vice president of Loops for Love. She is deeply involved in both the arts and community service, and she enjoys playing the violin in her free time. Additionally, she participates in several student organizations as a member of the Science National Honor Society (SNHS) and the National Honor Society (NHS).
 
 
Vice President: Ruishu Zhang
 

Ruishu Zhang is a 10th grader at Liberty High School and serves as one of the vice presidents of Loops for Love. She has a strong interest in academics and the arts as well as serving the community. She has a key role in Loops for Love, being the director of the Advocacy-social media, along with leading the fundraising. Beyond her role in Loops for Love, she is an avid enthusiast of music and writing and is a key player in her varsity golf team. She is actively involved in community events, having amassed 200 hours in volunteer services, and is also acting as one of the vice presidents in AYLUS Frisco & Plano branch. Through her volunteer services, Ruishu Zhang aims to change and improve the community for the better. 

Vice President: Kathleen Jiang

Kathleen Jiang is a sophomore at Hockaday and serves as a Vice President of Loops for Love. She is passionate about both public speaking and advocating for others. Outside of Loops for Love, Kathleen is actively engaged in her school community. She is Financial Officer of her grade, Hockaday Ambassador and Writing Center Intern. At Loops for Love, Kathleen hopes to foster purpose in Loops for Love and provide a safe environment for everyone to grow!

 
Vice President: Daniel Wang
 
Daniel Wang is a sophomore at Fremont Christian School and one of the vice presidents of Loops For Love. He is interested in STEM and coding and is strongly committed to helping the community. As vice president of AYLUS Frisco and Hummingbird Community outreach Dallas, Daniel hopes to work together with his team and community to create a better future for many.

At Loops for love, we create knitted, crocheted Chemo Hats for cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy, and other woven crafts donated to support our local communities. All of our Chemo Hats and crafts are handmade by youth volunteers from the Loop for love. We are always seeking new opportunities to make a positive impact and give back to our community. If you have a need/new idea for us, we would love to help!
